1)    How much, on average, will a website cost me?

Answer: The cost to design and build the site will depend on which type of package you purchase. Our most frequently purchased package is the ‘Complete Website Package’ which will almost always stay under $1800 after all is said and done. Our most expensive package is our ‘eCommerce Store Package’ which usually when said and done will cost around $2600. Lastly, our smallest and simplest package is the ‘Essential Website Package’. When all is said and done, this almost always costs $999.

2)    How long does it take for Coleman Web Designs Agency to finish a website project?

On average our projects take about 2-3 weeks, however, in our contracts we will give ourselves a full month.

3)    What is the biggest reason for delay when building a website

Content from clients is the biggest reason projects get delayed. Sometime it takes clients longer than expected to send pictures, or answer “About Us” questions, or return information about service prices and descriptions, etc.

Another main delay is domain transferring. If you own a domain through another services, it can take up to 14 days just to activate as the domain for you new business

If the client stays on pace with us, and the domain transfers are not an issue, the project can be done in 14 days.

4)    Are there any hidden fees that are not included in the contents of the packages offered?

Yes. Our firm builds website through Squarespace, which means all clients will need a Squarespace subscription. These subscriptions are between $250-$325 per YEAR. If you pay annually, you can receive an additional 10% off. If you pay for your Squarespace subscription monthly, you can expect about $29-$40 a month depending on your subscription.  

Clients can also expect to pay a $20 annual fee to Squarespace for maintaining the domain being used for the website.

In summary, to keep your website alive after it is built, the client can expect to pay around $350 a year for a subscription and domain fee.
