Urbanity Projects develops and produces film and television with a focus on clarity, originality, and execution. The site needed to feel like the work itself — cinematic, disciplined, and confident enough to sit next to a studio slate without shouting.
We leaned into an editorial dark aesthetic, a hero cityscape, and a scroll that moves like a title sequence — each project introduced with its own key art, logline, and script link, framed for buyers, collaborators, and press alike.
The challenge
Present a growing slate of scripts and unreleased projects with the polish of an established production company — without sacrificing the founder's voice or the editorial pacing that makes each story feel distinct.
Our approach
A cinematic dark palette, a slow-scroll hero, and a slate-style layout for each project. Type is treated like a screenplay — restrained, deliberate, letting the key art and loglines carry the emotional weight.
The slate we designed around
The Neighborhood
A grounded drama about a family arriving in a New Jersey town where culture and community are quietly being reshaped by change.
Public Access
A character-driven comedy set inside a chaotic Los Angeles public access station, where influencers and old media collide.
Sanity
A medical drama following a former patient working inside the mental health system that once failed her.
On the Slate
Hand Me Down, The Man and The Moon, and Between Heaven and Earth — three upcoming animated projects in early development.
About the organization
Stories with purpose, built to last.
Urbanity Projects is a subsidiary of Urbanity Inc., founded by Julius Schenck. The company develops and produces film and television, prioritizing ideas with purpose and bringing them to life through disciplined storytelling and a strong creative vision.
The goal is simple: create work that speaks for itself and holds its place over time — a slate built as carefully as the stories it contains.
"Urbanity carries the rhythm and wisdom of real life, while Projects shapes those truths into stories."
