Lemon Not Limes
A friendly, AI-forward marketing site for a personal digital recipe box — where URLs, PDFs, photos, and handwritten notes all become a searchable, organized collection of the recipes you actually cook.

Lemon Not Limes is a smart, personal recipe box. Upload a link, a PDF, a photo, or even a handwritten card, and the AI pulls out the ingredients, timing, and step-by-step directions automatically — no more screenshots buried in a camera roll or bookmarks lost to a bottomless browser tab.
The site needed to feel as easy as the product. We led with a plain-English hero, a three-part story around Collect, Organize, and Find, and a single, confident call to action pointing at sign-up. Warm color, appetizing type, and zero SaaS-speak.
The challenge
Explain an AI-powered recipe manager to home cooks — not developers — and turn casual curiosity into a confident sign-up in a single scroll.
Our approach
A warm, editorial layout with a clear product narrative, a How It Works walkthrough, and persistent sign-up CTAs — designed to make the value obvious before the visitor even reaches the fold.
Program pillars we designed around
Product in plain English
A hero and feature story that explain the AI recipe box in the language of dinner — not the language of software.
Collect, organize, find
A three-beat narrative built around the product's core promise, so every visitor understands the value in a scroll.
Sign-up as the north star
Persistent, low-pressure CTAs — 'Sign Up Today' — placed exactly where curiosity turns into action.
Warm, kitchen-first tone
A soft, appetite-friendly palette and voice that feels closer to a family cookbook than a SaaS dashboard.
About the product
Every recipe you love, in one place.
Lemon Not Limes replaces the pile of bookmarks, screenshots, printouts, and torn cookbook pages with a single, searchable collection. Custom labels — Vegan, Kid Favorites, Weeknight, Holiday — make meal planning fast, and AI-powered search means the recipe you're looking for is always one query away.
The site frames the product as an everyday kitchen companion: friendly, honest, and built for the person who cooks, not the person who codes.
"It finally feels like our whole kitchen lives in one place — every recipe, every note, every favorite, all a search away."
