BBQ Barn is a premium BBQ and grilling brand serving backyard pitmasters with rubs, sauces, wood, fuel, and gear. The site had to feel the way great BBQ tastes — smoky, confident, and unmistakably American — while still shopping like a modern, fast e-commerce experience.
We built a warm, editorial storefront with a moody food-forward hero, clear category entry points, and a merchandised best-sellers row that lets top products sell themselves. The design leans into rustic textures and a charcoal, red, and cream palette that stays appetizing on every page.
The challenge
Turn a growing BBQ product line into a storefront that feels premium and craveable — without losing the family-owned, backyard-pitmaster warmth that already sets the brand apart.
Our approach
A rustic-modern brand system, appetite-first photography direction, clear category merchandising, and a fast, frictionless checkout — all tuned to move first-time visitors from craving to cart.
Storefront pillars we designed around
Appetite-first storytelling
A moody, food-forward hero that puts the smoke, sear, and char of real BBQ front and center from the first scroll.
Clear category entry points
Rubs, sauces, wood & fuel, and grilling gear each get their own on-ramp so pitmasters land exactly where they came to shop.
Best-sellers up top
A curated best-sellers row with real reviews and ratings does the heavy lifting for first-time visitors.
Frictionless checkout
A clean cart, sticky promo bar, and fast product pages keep the path from craving to checkout as short as possible.
